Apple, Sausage, Smoked Gouda Panini
A delicious afternoon lunch with a crunch
Equipment

- panini press (optional)
Ingredients
- 2 slices marble rye bread (or bread you prefer)
- 1/2 granny smith apple (or apple you prefer) thinly sliced
- 1 slice smoked gouda
- 1 apple sage vegan sausage thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- In a pan, on medium heat, melt 1 tbsp of butter, and brown thinly sliced sausage on both sides.
- Assemble sandwich in order: apple slices, sausage slices, gouda, apple slices, honey.
- On a panini press, or pan, butter surface, cook sandwich until lightly-browned and crispy.
